Friday Find {Fresh Words Market}

A while back one of my posts entitled, Does Your Space Make You Happy? was featured on MindBodyGreen. In it, I share elements  that can contribute to the positive mood of a space, one being inspirational messages.

Words can be powerfully positive. They can motivate and be helpful reminders of qualities that induce good energy.

Recently, I’ve had the fortune of meeting and working with artist and founder of Fresh Words Market, Rebecca Peragine. Rebecca makes a living off of sharing inspirational mantras through beautiful artistic prints. In addition, she combines her business with philanthropy. For every print sold, Fresh Words Market donates 10% of its proceeds to women and children focused initiatives around the world. What a wonderful excuse to purchase art that not only beautifies your space, but does some greater good.

So, what kind of art are we talking about? This online store offers “modern art designed for spaces where adults and children meet”. The prints and cards use attractive fonts and colors that are suitable for any interior. From simple designs to layered images, the pieces at Fresh Words Market have a timeless quality.

Subtle or bold in color, a framed print may be all that is needed to bring your interior space together. And, why not send an enlightened message while you’re at it?

Rebecca also has a second line of art specifically designed with children in mind. Environmentally conscious and globally aware, the prints at Children Inspire Design are perfect for a nursery, child’s bedroom, or classroom (attn.: mindful teachers).

{last Friday Find: Sadika, Tunisian glass-blown art; in light of the sad destructive events in Tunis last week, it is a beautiful place I hold close to my heart.}
